Job Title: Research Specialist
Location: Remote
Pay Range: Up to $30 per hour
What’s the Job?
The position will mainly support the proprietary research panels by editing surveys and other research instruments, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, and preparing reports for various stakeholders.
1. Prepare and analyze quantitative survey data
2. Code open-ended responses
3. Create final reports, presentations, data visualizations, and/or other means of communicating insights to internal audiences
4. Support other types of research and evaluation work as needed.
What’s Needed?
Minimum Education Required BA degree with some prior related research-related work experience required. Masters preferred, in survey research, statistics, social sciences, or related field.
Experience 2+ years of experience in quantitative research and analysis. Some past experience in research study and sampling design and experience working with a wide variety of research methodologies and tools. ÏProficient with statistical packages (preferably Stata, R or Q). Proficient with running frequencies, crosstabs, and banners. Some experience with survey design and scripting/programming (Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, etc.) Ï Some experience with qualitative research methods, especially qualitative coding Advanced user of Excel, Powerpoint and/or Keynote. Ï
